Music is powerful. It can unite us in a way that few other things can. I love watching as a certain song makes everyone light up, or takes people more deeply into themselves. I mix my playlists to follow the arc of my classes, to evoke or encourage a certain sense of life, to ignite the wild spark we all have inside. Discovering music I love is and making these playlists is one of my favorite things to do. I look for music that makes me feel: some thrill or sigh or greater understanding of beauty. Sometimes what I feel is just the zing of being in the presence of brilliance. I hope these playlists take you someplace beautiful.
